Smelly Belly

Here is my idea. Show you the kids every week. They grow up fast, so check them out and see what they are doing. Cybele is the kid I want to profile this week. She is learning to walk right now, which means she is getting into all sorts of mischief. She is definitely the monkeyiest baby we ever made and needs constant watching. Most of the time we let her crawl around the playroom and we create this wall of what we believed to be babyproof ottomans to keep her in it. No such luck. A few weeks ago Cybele was alone for a few minutes in the playroom and then 'poof' suddenly she is in the kitchen. Checked the babyproof wall for cracks or holes but none were discovered. So we waited and watched and soon enough learned that Cybele, in addition to being a proficient crawler, is an excellent climber. So now she is trying to add walking to her repertoire. Walking so far consists of standing taking one step and sitting. Nana saw her take four steps the other day, but the rest of us have only seen the stand-step-sit routine.
